As we get ready for the 2nd grading period to be over, and make our way toward the 3rd nine weeks (AND THE SECOND HALF OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!!) students will be assessed on their progress up to this point.
Here is a schedule for the NEXT TWO WEEKS:
January 5-9
Review all major concepts up to this point
In-class activities to help prepare for the Exams
January 12(Monday)
Listening and Extended Response (Exam part 1)
January 13 (Tuesday)
Multiple Choice (Exam part 2)
January 14-15 (Playing Exam)
Play scales (selected for each grade level)
Play lip slurs
play a sight reading
Istruments should go home after the playing portion of the exam!! We will be starting Bands in the Round Music on Tuesday January 20th.
